I am the daughter of Mary and David Moor; My mother also had a sister Annie born in 2nd April 1908 or 1909 who is not mentioned as a sister to Mary; I only met an uncle called Tommy and I do not have any details other than his wife was Gladys and her parents lived under an arch is the East End of London; I believe my mother and aunt had family disagreements with their brothers; My aunt took over the licence of a public house known as The Jug House in Stepney; She married James Berry and they did not have any children; Annie took over the public house just before the 1939/45 war called The Kings Arms in Bow Road while my uncle worked for the Gas Company; 9 February 2010 - Spain Webmaster comments   Thank you for your message, we will be in touch by email.

I have traced Maria Amelia Archer from John Street Mile End to her burial in 1915 in Townsville, Queensland, Australia; Her parents were William & Elizabeth Archer;(William was a waterman bound in 1809 in Bankside Surrey (now Southwark area where Maria was born)(1841 census)They were the only William & Elizabeth Archer I could find at the time; if they happened to be the witnesses to the Archer/Goody marriage they were probably related; I have full info; if this rings a bell; 19 January 2010 - France Webmaster comments   Thank you for your message. My great great grandparents were George Goodey (born 1839 in Halstead,Essex) and Maria Goodey (born around 1838 in Costessey,Norfol k); Their daughter (my great gran) was Jane Elizabeth Goodey (born 1860) and she married Thomas Ward and lived for a time in Monk Bretton, Barnsley in Yorkshire before settling in Fife Scotland; The family were employed in the papermaking industry; have just started this line of my tree and would be grateful for any leads about the Goodey family and/or Maria's family(maiden name unknown as yet); Thanks; 30 December 2009 - Scotland Webmaster comments   Thank you for your message, we will be in touch with you by email.
