I think I can add to your history of the Goodeys! My great Grandfather was James Goodey (born around 1875) who married Lettie Marais (born 1879-10-19 and died 1929-01-05 in Kroonstad South Africa)They had 10 children but only 5 survived, namely Golden, Joseph,Mary, Una and John Richmond (my granddad) Sadly we lost Aunty Mary last year in the ripe old age of 89 and now its only my granddad still left; My grandfather was born on 6 April 1922, in Dover in the Orange Freestate in South Africa; 22 January 2007 - South Africa Webmaster comments   Thank you for your message, we will be in touch soon by email.
