Hi all, i'm researching my stepmother-in-laws family and one of the names is GOODEY/GOODAY; Wondering if anyone has a link to this name in Chelmsford Suffolk; The furthest back so far is 1817 Jesse Goodey who was born in Chelmsford, he married a Charlotte nee unknown also of Chelmsford suffolk; In Chelmsford they had 2 Sons Jesse born c1834 and George born c1837, after Georges birth they moved down to Surrey as there next child, Sarah was born in Molden/Merton c1839; Thereafter they had 3 more children William b c1843 Merton, Surrey, Robert b c1846 Cheam and finally Selena b c1854 also in Cheam; I have descendants of most of these children, but if anyone has a connection in any form either in Suffolk or Surrey can you let me know 6 July 2006 - Somerset, UK Webmaster comments   Thank you for your message, we seem to have some information about this family and will be in contact by email.
