Hi, thanks again for this brilliant site; I notice you haven't got my grandfather Leslie John Goody (known as John, b; 1901) on your list; He was the youngest son of Walter Goody b; 1846 & Mary Ungley b; 1868; He worked at the Royal Aircraft Establishment in Farnborough from around 1941; According to my dad he was good at table tennis & used to play with Fred Perry in the family owned pub!! Thanks for the chance to ask for some Goody help! I'm not a Goody myself but have come across the name while researching my mother's Winny family; My great grandfather's older brother Charles John Winny born in Nayland, Suffolk in about 1827 settled in Clare (Suffolk/Essex border) and married an Elizabeth Goody, born in Clare about 1820 - she's in the 1851 census there with her father Samuel Goody born about 1787 in Clare and a possible younger brother George born there in about 1826; We think that Charles was lodging with them and then he married Elizabeth about 1867 and may have died fairly soon afterwards; Do you know anything about this Goody family?
