This is a new page we have created to display family trees containing hundreds of people and families. These are known family groups which we are calling Unknown Connections because we feel that at some time in the past we were all linked, but this is to be found. Until that time comes we thought that it would be nice for people whose names are Goody, Goodey, Gooday, Goodday to be able, perhaps, to see a link to themselves. As we search though the parish records and official registers we have found the name Goody changing all the time. For example even when the priest or vicar was recording information about the same family he would spell the surname differently each time.
At this moment there are nine quite large unknown family trees. We have numbered them 1 of 9 and 2 of 9, etc. We feel that the best way is to go to the Name Index Page to see if you can find the name you are looking for.
As we find more information on the families shown here on this website we will update them as well as adding more families from time to time. We would be grateful if you have any interesting facts, information or photographs on any person you see that you contact us through our guest book and we will respond to you by email.
