                                       Mrs H. Goody

After leading a very active life, Mrs Harriet Goody, of Ladylands, Pointers Lane, Shoebury, died at her home on Wednesday week, in her ninety second year.  Late of Takeley, Essex, Mrs Goody took up residence at Shoebury twelve years ago.  She had ten children, but only five survive her, two sons and three daughters.  The funeral and interment took place at North Shoebury churchyard on Tuesday, the chief mourners being Mr. & Mrs. J A Goody (son and daughter-in-law), Mrs Stolen (daughter) and her son, Mrs H. Madson (daughter), Mr. & Mrs. A Russel (son-in-law and daughter) and Mr. W. Oxley Goody (son). Died at the age of 91 on December 13th, 1944. Harriet and David were married on September 19th, 1870.  They had four sons and seven daughters, named James, Charles, Frederick, William, Mary, Anne, Eliza, Harriet, Alice, Nellie and Agnes.
