Charles William Goodey
Charles was born in 1849. Charles' father was
Jabez Goody and his mother was
Sophia Chinery. His paternal grandparents are
James Goody and
Sarah Smith. He had a brother and three sisters, named
Horace,
Victoria,
Charlotte and
Alice. He is the second oldest of the five children.
1851 Census shows he was 2 years of age, born in Bethnal Green, London and living at Chapel Hill, Halstead, Essex.
