Male Golden Goodey

Golden was born in 1873.  Golden's father was Golden Goodey and his mother was Elizabeth Clift.  His paternal grandparents were Golden Gooday and Mary Ann Elizabeth Willsher. He had four brothers and four sisters, named James, Joseph, John, Harry, Mary, Lillie, Clara and Fanny.  He was the third oldest of the nine children. He had a half-sister named Ellen.

Birth was registered between April-June 1873 in Lexden Registration District.
1881 Census shows that he was 8 years of age, born in Chapel, Essex and living at Pattocks Farm, Chapel, Essex.
1891 Census shows that he was 18 years of age, born in Chapel, Essex and living at Pattocks Farm, Chapel, Essex.
1901 Census shows that he was 29 years of age, born in Chappel, Essex and living in Hugh Street, Bures St Mary, Suffolk.
1925 National Probate and Will records show the following:
Golden of Whilton Northamptonshire died 22 April 1924 Administration London 2 April to Maud Pettit Goodey widow. Effects £212 8s. 4d.

Occupation Details

1900 Trade Directories show that he was the Publican of the White Horse Inn, Bures St Mary, Suffolk.
1901 Census shows that he was a Publican

Death Notes

There is no record of his death in the General Registration records. Died at the age of 51 on 22 April 1924.

Golden's family with Maud Pettitt Hellen

Golden and Maud were married in 1895.  They had a daughter named Bessie.
Marriage was registered between Oct-Dec 1895 in Camberwell Registration District.
