Thomas Goody and her mother was
Jane Pepper. Her paternal grandparents were

Mary Williams. She had four brothers and three sisters, named

Susannah. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.

Mary and

Paish records show that they were married in St Peter's Church, Birch, Essex by Richard Walter.
The witnesses were William Taylor and Sarah Taylor.
The records show that they were both living in the parish at the time of their marriage and that they and their witnesses were all illiterate.
