Male William Thomas Goody

William was born on 19th August 1873.  William's father was George Newman Goody and his mother was Mary Ann Wagstaff Bond.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Goody and Mary Moss. He had a brother and six sisters, named George, Alice, Edith, Elizabeth, Jane, Ellen and Emily.  He was the fifth oldest of the eight children.

Birth was registered between July-Sept 1873 in Lexden Registration District. 
1881 Census shows he was 7 years of age, born in Birch, Essex and living at Birch Green, Birch, Essex.
1891 Census shows that he was 17 years of age, born in Birch, Essex and living in Birch Green, Essex.
1901 Census shows that he was 26 years of age, born in Birch Green, Essex and boarding with Ernest and Edith Burrell in 3 Stewards Cottange, Newlands Road, Prittlewell, Essex.
1911 Census shows that he was 36 years of age, born in Birch Green, Essex and lving in West Street, Rowhedge, Essex.
1939 Register shows that he was living in 195 Shrub End Road, Colchester, Essex.
1948 National Probate and Will records show the following:
William Thomas of 92 London-road Lexden Colchester died 24 February 1948 Probate Ipswich 28 May to Harry Whitehead town missionary.  Effects: £84 1s 3d.

1911 Census shows that he was a General Labourer.
1939 Register shows that he was a Greengrocer (own business).

Death Notes

Death was registered between Jan-Mar 1948 in Colchester Registration District at 74 years of age. Died at the age of 75 on February 24th, 1948.

William's family with Annie Burrell

William and Annie were married in 1903.  They had two sons and two daughters, named William, Edward, Joyce and Isabella.
Marriage was registered between Jan-Mar 1903 in Romford Registration District.
