Fred Laver
Fred was born on February 28th, 1902. Fred's father was
Eli James Laver and his mother was
Minnie Eliza Goody. His maternal grandparents were
James Goody and
Emily Esther Martin. He had four brothers and three sisters, named
Arthur,
Jesse,
Christopher,
Albert,
Ivy,
Bertha and
Phyllis. He was the sixth oldest of the eight children.
Birth was registered between April-June 1902 in Halstead Registration District.
1911 Census shows that he was 9 years of age, born in Little Yeldham, Essex and living in Barrack Yard, Castle Hedingham, Essex.
