1916 Canadian Census shows her surname as BLAMFORTH, that she was 51 years of age, born in England and living at Park Street, Kamsack, Saskatchewan, Canada.  It also shows that she was a Presbyterian, that she emigrated to Canada in 1906, had become a naturalised Canadian, was literate and English was her native language.  She was unable to speak French.
