1901 Census shows that she was 56 years of age, born in Stoke, Suffolk and living at Tilbury Hill, Tilbury Juxta Clare, Essex.
1911 Census shows that she was 67 years of age, born in Stoke, Suffolk and living at The Hill, Tilbury Juxta Clare, Essex.

There is a monumental inscription at St. Margaret's Church, Tilbury-Juxta-Clare, Essex which shows that Charlotte Goody was the Church school mistress.
Died at the age of 69 in 1914.
