Parish records show that she was christened in St Barnabas Church, Chapel, Essex on 18th September 1857 by J Harryvince.
1861 Census shows that she was 2 years of age, born in Great Tey, Essex and living at Farm House, Moor Road, Great Tey, Essex. The census shows the surname as GOODEY.
