Female Emeline Isabel Goody

Emeline was born on May 5th, 1850.  Emeline's father was George Goody and her mother was Ann Esther Barnard.  Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Goody and Anne Siggins. She had a sister named Ann.  She was the younger of the two children.

Christened in St Dunstan & All Staints Church, Stepney on 26th May by N C Izard whilst residing at 5 Ocean Street, Stepney, London, England.
1851 Census states that she was 10 months of age, born in Stepney, Middlesex and was living in Ocean Street, Stepney, Mile End Old Town, Middlesex.

Occupation Details

Parish records at the time of her marriage show that she was a Tailoress.

Marriage was registered between Oct-Dec 1881 in Mile End Registration District.
Parish records show that they were married on 12th October 1881 in Holy Trinity Church, Mile End Old Town, Middlesex by A Osborne Jay, Curate.
The witnesses were Samuel Noller and Mary Ann Smith.
John is shown as being a widower and Emeline as a spinster.  They were shown as both living in Stepney.
