Margaret May Goody
Margaret was born in 1899. Margaret's father was
Walter James Goody and her mother was
Margaret Mary Collins. Her paternal grandparents were
Thomas Goody and
Eliza Malster. She had three brothers and five sisters, named

Horace,
Elsie,
Lily ,
Dorothy,
Gracie and
Ivy . She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
Parish records show that she was christened on 12th February 1899 in St Giles Church, Colchester, Essex by Henry Ruslidge, Curate. The family were living at Old Heath, Colchester, Essex at the time.
1901 Census shows she was 2 years of age, born in Colchester, Essex and living at Old Heath, Colchester, Essex.
