Male William Goody

William was born on November 21st, 1868.  William's father was John Goody and his mother was Mary Ann Purkis.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Goody and Emily Reeve. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Jim, Jonas, Henry, John, Lucy, Carrie, Hezekiah, Martha and Mary.  He was the second oldest of the eleven children.

Birth was registered between Oct-Dec 1868 in Newmarket Registration District. 
He was christened in All Saints Church, Kirtling, Cambridgeshire on 7th February 1869.
1871 Census shows that he was 2 years of age and living in Cheveley, Newmarket, Cambridgeshire.
1881 Census shows he was 12 years of age, born in Kirtling, Cambridgeshire and living at Upend Street Cottage, Kirtling, Cambridgeshire.
1891 Census shows that he was 22 years of age and living in Cheveley, Newmarket, Cambridgeshire.
1901 Census shows he was 32 years of age, born in Newmarket, Cambridgeshire and living in St Pancras, London.

Parish records show that he was a Labourer when he was married.
1901 Census shows he was a Horse Keeper.

Death Notes

Death was registered between Jan-Mar 1935 in Croydon Registration District at 66 years of age.
He died in Croydon General Hospital on 9th January 1935 Died at the age of 66 on January 9th, 1935.

William's family with Jemima Susan Cheshire

William and Jemima were married on April 3rd, 1899.
Marriage was registered between April-June 1899 in Poplar Registration District.
Parish records show that they were married in St Marks Church, Cadogan Terrace, Poplar on 3rd April 1899 and were both living at 79 Lefevre Road, Poplar. 
The witnesses to their marriage were William's brother and sister, Jonas and Lucy.
