1851 Census shows that he was 38 years of age, born in Tilbury Juxta Clare, Essex and living at Tilbury Hill, Tilbury Juxta Clare, Essex.
1861 Census shows that he was 48 years of age, born in Tilbury Juxta Clare, Essex and living at Cole Green, Belchamp St Paul. The Census spelt his surname GOODEY.
1871 Census shows that he was 58 years of age and living in Sudbury, Bulmer. His surname was spelt as GOODY.
1878 National Probate and Wills records show that probate was proved by Mary Ann Goody, widow and Isaiah Smith who were both the executors of his will on 6th April for effects valued at under £100.
