Edward Goody
Edward was born in 1822. Edward's father was
Edward Goody and his mother was
Grace Parkinson. His paternal grandparents were
William Goody and
Sarah Wicker. He had two brothers and two sisters, named
George,
George,
Louisa and
Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the five children.
Parish records show that he was christened in St Andrews Church, Halstead, Essex on 10th November 1822 by William Adams. His father, Edward, was a Husbandman at the time.
