Elizabeth Goody
Elizabeth was born in 1832. Elizabeth's father was
Edward Goody and her mother was
Grace Parkinson. Her paternal grandparents were
William Goody and
Sarah Wicker. She had three brothers and a sister, named
George,
Edward,
George and
Louisa. She was the youngest of the five children.
Parish records show that she was christened in St Andrews Church, Halstead, Essex on 24th April 1832 by John Houghton. Her father, Edward, was a Husbandman at the time.
