Eliza Goody
Eliza was born in 1831. Eliza's father was
Joseph Goody and her mother is
Ruth Plum. Her paternal grandfather was
Noah Goody and her paternal grandmother is
Sarah Parker. She had two brothers and four sisters, named
Charles,
James,
Caroline,
Harriett,
Mary and
Sarah. She is the second oldest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named
George,
Samuel and
Eliza.
Parish records show that she was christened in St Margarets Church, Tilbury Juxta Clare on 8th September 1833 by Charles Fisher.
1841 Census shows that she was 10 years of age and living at Tilbury Juxta Clare, Essex.
According to the 1841 Census which shows her as being 10 years of age this indicates that she was 2 years of age when she was christened.
