Jane was born in 1862. Jane's father was

Susan.

Parish records show that she was christened St Margarets Church, Tilbury Juxta Clare, Essex on 19th June 1868 with her two brothers, Robert and John.
1871 Census shows that she was 8 years of age, Tilbury Juxta Clare, Essex and living in Tilbury Hill, Tilbury Juxta Clare, Essex.
