Susan Goody
Susan was born in 1824. Susan's father was
Richard Goody and her mother was
Mary Neal. Her paternal grandmother was
Sarah Goody. She had three brothers and two sisters, named
William,
James,
Henry,
Eliza and
Frances. She was the fourth oldest of the six children.
Parish records show that she was christened in St Laurence Church, Ridgewell, Essex on 4th September 1831 on the same day as her brothers, William and Henry by Thomas Greene.
1841 Census shows that she was 15 years of age and living in Ridgewell, Essex.
Parish records at the time of her burial show that she was 17 years of age, this means there is a discrepancy between the burial records and the census.
