Abraham was born in 1766.

General Notes

Lived in St Michael Parish, Barbados.
He used some 200 slaves to run his Hopeland plantation in St. Michael Parish and whose name adorns Brandon’s Beach on the west coast near the former plantation.

Occupation Details

Records show that he was a West Indian Sugar Plantation owner and shipper.

Death Notes

Died in St Michael, Barbados five days after his son, Alfred.  Died at the age of 65 on June 6th, 1831.

Abraham and Sarah were married in 1823.  They had three sons and three daughters, named Alfred, Joseph, Alfred, Julia, Esther and Lavinia.
They were married in St Joseph parish, Barbados.
