After the children were born Lavinia, Judah and the children returned to London.
1870 USA Census shows that she was 35 years of age, born in England and living in 46 West 46th Street, New York,  USA.
1881 Census shows that she was 55 years of age, born in Barbados and staying at 103 Portsdown Road, London with her sons and sister Julia.
1891 Census shows that she was 65 years of age, born in Barbados and living in Clarendon Gardens, Paddington, London.
1896 Ellis Island, New York, USA immigration records show that Lavinia and her granddaughter Gladys arrived in the USA on the ship Lucania on 22nd August 1896.
1896 Incoming Passenger Lists show that Lavinia and her granddaughter Gladys arrived in Liverpool, England during September 1896 from New York, USA
1901 Census shows that she was 75 years of age, born in Barbados and living in 181 Sutherland Avenue, Paddington, London.
National probate records show that probate was granted on 30th January 1903 to Solomon Abecasis and Abraham Rodrigues Brandon Abecasis gentlemen for her effects valued at £725 3s 1d and that she was residing in 181 Sutherland Avenue, Maida Vale, Middlesex at the time of her death.
