Male Charles Goodey

Charles was born in 1845.  Charles' father was Thomas Goody and his mother was Elizabeth Sergeant.  His paternal grandparents were William Goody and Elizabeth Church. He had six brothers and five sisters, named William, Thomas, Frederick, Henry, Edward, David, Elizabeth, Susanna, Mary Ann, Sophia and Emma.  He was the eighth oldest of the twelve children.

Birth was registered between July-Sept 1845 in Halstead Registration District.
1851 Census shows that he was 6 years of age, born in Halstead, Essex and living at 127 High Street, Halstead, Essex.
1861 Census shows that he was living at Colchester Road, Halstead, Essex.
Parish records at the time of his marriage to Susan Carter show that he was living at St George's Square, Pimlico, London.
1881 Census shows that he was born in Halstead and living at 11 Wellington Road, West Ham, Essex.
1901 Census shows that he was living in West Ham, Essex.
He had four children:

Occupation Details

1861 Census shows that he was a Bricklayer's Labourer.
Parish records at the time of his marriage show that he was a Butler.
1881 Census shows that he was a Bricklayer.
1901 Census shows that he was a Bricklayer.

Death Notes

Death was registered between Jan-Mar 1924 in West Ham Registration District. Died at the age of 79 in 1924.

Charles and Susan were married on January 28th, 1869.
