Jane Sarah Goodey
Jane was born on February 15th, 1856. Jane's father was
Henry Goody and her mother was
Mary Wilshire. Her paternal grandparents were
William Goody and
Elizabeth Church. She had three brothers and four sisters, named

Arthur,
Alma,
Mary,
Victoria,
Jane and
Alice. She was the youngest of the eight children.
Birth was registered between Jan-Mar 1856 in Romford Registration District under the surname Goodey.
1861 Census shows that she was born in Barking, Essex and was living in Heath Street, Barking, Essex.
She emigrated to the USA and married Henry Lewis on 30th June 1873 in Lehi, Utah, USA.
