Alice was born on September 12th, 1845. Alice's father was
Henry Goody and her mother was
Mary Wilshire. Her paternal grandparents were

Jane. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.

1861 Census shows that she was born in Barking, Essex and living in Heath Street, Barking, Essex.
She emigrated to Utah, USA. where she married and had 11 children.
